Stamping

Stamping refers to the technique in which ink or paint is used on a rubber or acrylic stamp (images, alphabets, numbers etc.) to stamp it on paper or other mediums like canvas, wood, fabric etc.

Sponging

Sponging refers to dabbing cardstock with ink or acrylic paint using a piece of sponge. Simply pat the sponge piece on the ink pad and gently dab it on the card stock.

If using acrylic paint, gently dab the sponge on the paint and remove the excess paint by dabbing it on a scrap paper first before using it on the cardstock.

Beauty of Nature

handmade greeting card

A simple combination of stamping and punch craft. I simply doodled the cat tails after stamping the grass.

I used wooden blocks and acrylic paint for stamping. I love the richness of copper.

Easy Peasy

Put a card together in 5 mins with some felt flowers and stickers. That’s it and an extra special card is ready.

Elegant Wishes

handmade greeting card

A simple background stamp and a strip of patterned paper (I have stamped the pink strip here) along with a few embellishments on the side makes a very elegant card. Sponging the corners of the card gives it an extra special look.
